The e-mails always could have been recovered, actually, through reconstructing her activity by subpoenaing or otherwise obtaining copies from the senders and receivers, although that would have taken quite a bit of effort which there may or may not be the political will to exert, depending on how bad Barry and Michelle and George want the Hildebeest out of the Democratic primary.
This has never been about the fact that the Sea Hag broke the law (multiple times) by doing this. The question is: what is on those e-mails that she was willing to commit multiple federal felonies in order to conceal from the rest of the world?
